Self-Paced Learning and Time Management
This is an asynchronous, intensive 16-week course. Students must manage their time effectively to complete lectures, assignments, and lab work.
Weekly Commitment: Expect to spend 6-8 hours per week on coursework, not including study time.
Assignment Submission: All assignments must be submitted through Canvas and Mastering A&P.
Deadlines: Adherence to posted due dates is required; late work may not be accepted.
Technology Issues: Computer/internet problems are not valid excuses for missed work.
Attendance Policy
Online Participation
Attendance is tracked through completion of quizzes, exams, and discussion posts. Failure to participate will result in loss of points and may affect overall performance.
Central Time Zone: All assignments and exams are scheduled on Central Time.
Missed Assignments: No points awarded for missed or incomplete work.
Withdrawal Policy
Dropping the Course
Students may withdraw from the course before the census date. Withdrawals after the census date will result in a "W" on the transcript.

Lecture & Lab Exams and Tests
Assessment Structure
Lecture Exams: 5 exams during the semester, each with 50 multiple-choice questions.
Lab Exams: Scheduled as indicated in the course calendar.
Exam Format: Administered online using Lockdown Browser & Honorlock; covers material from lectures and Mastering A&P assignments.
Time Limits: 40-48 hours to start exam, 65 minutes to complete once started.
Question Policy: Questions are locked and cannot be revisited.
