  • Inspiratory Capacity (IC): The total amount of air that can be inspired after a normal expiration. It is calculated as the sum of the tidal volume and the inspiratory reserve volume.

  • Spirographic Record: A graphical representation of the different lung volumes and capacities measured during breathing. The spirograph helps visualize the changes in lung volume during various phases of respiration.
