Course Description & Objectives

This course provides an in-depth study of the structure and function of major organ systems, emphasizing the integration of anatomical and physiological concepts. It is the first part of a two-semester sequence.

Assessment & Grading

  • Exams: 4 Unit Exams + 1 Comprehensive Final (total of 5 exams)

  • Participation: In-class clicker responses

  • Attendance: Required; excessive absences may result in being dropped from the course

Grading Scale:

  • A: 90-100%

  • B: 80-89%

  • C: 70-79%

  • D: 60-69%

  • F: 59% and below
