Course Overview

BIO 1810: Anatomy and Physiology I is the first course in a two-part sequence focusing on the integration of human body systems and the maintenance of homeostasis. The course covers foundational topics in anatomy and physiology, including cellular biology, tissues, the skeletal system, the muscular system, and the nervous system. This course is essential for students pursuing careers in health professions and related fields.

Program Learning Outcomes

• Understanding Organization: Students will understand the organization of cells, tissues, organs, and systems in the human body.
