Q: A student’s final grade in the course is calculated using the following weights: Homework = 10%, Quizzes = 10%, Tests = 30%, Final Exam = 50%. If a student scores 80% on Homework, 90% on Quizzes, 70% on Tests, and 60% on the Final Exam, what is their final course grade?

$$0.10 \times 80 + 0.10 \times 90 + 0.30 \times 70 + 0.50 \times 60 = 8 + 9 + 21 + 30 = 68$$

Q: If a student receives the following grades: Homework 100%, Quizzes 80%, Tests 90%, Final Exam 70%, what is their final average?

$$0.10 \times 100 + 0.10 \times 80 + 0.30 \times 90 + 0.50 \times 70 = 10 + 8 + 27 + 35 = 80$$

Q: If a student receives 100% on Homework, 100% on Quizzes, 100% on Tests, and 60% on the Final Exam, what is their final average?

$$0.10 \times 100 + 0.10 \times 100 + 0.30 \times 100 + 0.50 \times 60 = 10 + 10 + 30 + 30 = 80$$
