Key Competencies
Compare and contrast the anatomy and physiology of the human integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems.
Describe the structure and function of various cell types.
Identify and give examples of different cell histology and stages of the cell cycle.
Identify the basic structures of the brain, eye, and ear.
Identify the bones and markings of the skeletal system.
Relate muscle actions to their origins and insertions.

Course Policies
Attendance and Participation
Attendance is mandatory and part of the participation grade.
Students are responsible for all material covered in missed classes.
Unexcused absences result in zero participation points for that class meeting.
Technology Requirements
Students must have a computer with a functional webcam and the ability to install LockDown Browser software.
Cell phones and laptops are only permitted for coursework during class.
Academic Integrity
Academic dishonesty (cheating, plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, etc.) will result in a failing grade and possible expulsion.
Use of AI-generated work without explicit permission is considered academic dishonesty.
Assignment and Exam Policies
Late assignments are accepted at the professor’s discretion.
Make-up exams require documented, excused absences and must be scheduled within five days of the missed exam.
Midterms and finals cannot be made up.
