In choice D it states that we have both nonpolar solute and solvent. And choice E it states that choices A and B would be correct. And then choice F says that we have both choices C and D as correct. So looking at our given diagram, we can observe that we have very densely packed green atoms which represent again our substance being dissolved, which is our solute because our solute is densely packed, we're going to therefore categorize this as most likely being in its solid face. And looking at the blue area of our diagram which represents our solvent, we do not see any atoms depicted. So this is going to most likely be in its liquid phase recall that water is our universal solvent. So this blue area most likely consists of water. Now because we see that our blue area is completely separate from our green atoms depicted. And we have distinguishable parts between our two substances. In our diagram being our solute and our solvent, we can confirm that these will not mix. So we'll note down that we have distinguishable phases. So therefore, our substances do not mix. And we can confirm that that would correlate to having different polarities between our substances. Recall that if we have similar polarities because like dissolves, like we would observe that we have just one distinguishable or indistinguishable phase between our two substances.
