NYU is proud to serve as a scholarship provider on behalf of FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Robotics. This one time 2,000 dollar scholarship supports the mission of FIRST to inspire young people to become science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in mentor based programs that build skills in science, engineering, and technology, encourage innovation, and foster well rounded life capabilities such as self confidence, communication, and leadership. High school students who have participated or are currently participating in a high school level FIRST Robotics Competition or FIRST Tech Challenge team are eligible to apply. Applicants must complete a brief application and submit one letter of recommendation prior to confirming their decision to enroll at NYU Tandon. The application deadline each year is June 1.
