Teaching in Action with Live Response transcript

I've been using Live Response in my GOB chemistry courses for the past two semesters.

Classroom engagement is essential to my teaching because I want to know in real time whether students are thinking, understanding, and participating. Live Response makes that easy for me. The interface is clean, modern, and intuitive.

It takes me less than 10 minutes to prepare a session, and I can push questions directly to my students' own devices. I've seen colleagues carry a box full of clickers to class; I simply open my session and start engaging students immediately.

One of my favorite features is the ability to run the same question multiple times. After showing the class results, I ask my students to reconsider and try again. It's remarkable to see how many more students answer correctly the second time. Sometimes all it takes for the concept to click is seeing how their peers are thinking.

That peer-to-peer learning moment is powerful, and my students love it too. One student shared with me that it provides immediate feedback and allows everyone to participate without feeling spotlighted. Another student said it keeps the whole class engaged and productive.

For me, it's a simple way to make learning active and inclusive.
