The Pearson Educator Awards 2026 are judged by academic leaders, industry experts and experienced educators who understand the impact great teaching can have on learners and learning journeys.

Each award category is evaluated by a panel of expert judges who independently review, shortlist finalists and select winners.

Headline Judges

Judging Criteria

1. Category Fit

How well does the submission align with the award category description and judging criteria?

2. Question Response

How effectively does the nomination answer the awards question and demonstrate the impact the nominee has had on learners?

3. Outcomes and Impact

What results and outcomes have been achieved through the nominee's work? This may include improvements in learner confidence, engagement, achievement, progression, accessibility, innovation, or other evidence of meaningful impact.

Higher Education and K-12 Judges

Our judging panel brings expertise across higher education teaching excellence, learner success, accessibility, innovation, and preparing students for the future.

English Language Learning Judges

Our judging panel will feature leading voices from the English language learning community, including educators, practitioners and industry experts who share a commitment to helping learners build confidence, find their voice and achieve their goals through English.
