Accepted Answer

Extensor digitorum

Question 13

If a muscle is described as 'bipennate,' what does this indicate about its fascicle arrangement?

Accepted Answer

Fascicles insert into the tendon from two sides

Question 14

Which of the following best explains why pennate muscles are generally stronger than parallel muscles?

Accepted Answer

They contain more muscle fibers packed into a given area
