So first let's look at our hcl or hydrochloric acid. So hydrochloric acid has a covalin bond between the hydrogen and the chlorine atoms. And so we can actually calculate the difference in the electro negativity values by taking the electro negativity of chlorine, which is three and subtracting it by the electro negativity of hydrogen, which is 2.1, giving us 0.9. The next thing that we're going to do as we are going to examine our bromo methane are bromo methane and when we draw this out it's going to be a methane, a carbon bonded to three hydrogen. And that carbon is also bonded to that roaming as before. We can go ahead and find the difference in electro negativity values between our carbon and are booming since the carbon and hydrogen bombs are negligible.
