Next we move on to our hotel behind as a saw and that structure is as follows, we have an oxygen double bonded to a carbon and that carbon is bonded to a methyl and a hydrogen. Now we notice that this is going to exhibit what's known as dipole dipole interactions or dipole dipole forces due to that carbon oxygen bond. And so we can say that this is going to be slightly soluble in water because water also will exhibit dipole dipole forces. But its main force is hydrogen bonding. And then last but not least, we have our calcium chloride here as I saw you. And if we examine the structure, we notice that it is an ionic compound, so it exhibits ionic bonding and psionic because it's between a metal which is our calcium and a non metal which is our chlorine and something that's ionic bonding is going to be considered very soluble. In fact, calcium chloride can be seen similarly with sodium chloride, which is table salt and so table salt can readily dissolve in water. So if we were to rank these in terms of from most soluble, we would put calcium chloride as the most soluble, followed by hotel to hide.
