Meet Our Speaker

Matthew Provost is Siksikaitsitapii from Treaty 7 Territory. He pursued a degree in Communications at SFU, with a minor in First Nation Studies.

Matthew believes in personal growth despite challenges, adopting the mindset that every moment is an opportunity to bloom. During his undergraduate journey, he passionately advocated for Indigenous students within the academic landscape, collaborating with diverse community groups and fostering connections with youth, elders, and beyond.

Matthew will be joining us as a keynote speaker, offering profound insights from his journey as an Indigenous student, navigating and challenging colonial boundaries within post-secondary and institutional environments.
