<v ->Strings are probably the most important</v> data structure on the web, since webpages ultimately consist of strings of characters sent from the server to the browser and many other kinds of programs also require string manipulation. As a result, strings make an excellent place to start your JavaScript programming journey. We'll start by learning the basics of what strings are and how to create them, including both single and double quoted strings. We'll then learn about how to join or concatenate multiple strings into a single string as well as how to insert or interpolate one string into another. Next, we'll learn how to print strings to the console log or the terminal window. As part of this, we'll see our first examples of JavaScript, Boolean variables, and control flow. Finally, we'll learn how to iterate over strings with four loops, allowing us to access strings one character at a time.
