Course Description
This course covers the definitions, properties, and applications of trigonometric functions, identities, inverse functions, solutions of equations, graphing, and solving triangles. Additional topics include vectors, polar coordinates, and parametric equations.
Prerequisites
Satisfactory score on college admission test or completion of Math 0373.
Math 1314 and 1316 may be taken concurrently.
Assessment levels: R3, E1, M3.
Required Materials
Textbook: Trigonometry, 12th Edition by Lial/Hornsby/Schneider/Daniels.
Calculator: Nonprogrammable (non-graphing) calculator required for exams and classwork.
Exam Blue Books: Four 8-leaf blank blue books (three for regular exams, one for the final exam).
