Title overview
Clinical reasoning is a fundamental skill for safe, effective and person-centred nursing practice. Clinical Reasoning helps nursing students develop the ability to assess situations, interpret information, make informed decisions and respond appropriately in complex healthcare environments. Using authentic clinical scenarios, the resource guides students through the clinical reasoning process while building the confidence needed to apply knowledge in real-world practice.
Structured around realistic patient situations, the text encourages students to think critically, reflect on their decision-making and develop sound clinical judgement. By combining evidence-based nursing practice with practical application, students learn how to respond to diverse health challenges while considering patient needs, safety standards and professional responsibilities. The result is a deeper understanding of how clinical reasoning supports quality care and positive patient outcomes.
Who It's For
Ideal for undergraduate nursing students seeking to develop the clinical judgement, critical-thinking skills and decision-making capabilities required for safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing practice.
