  • Coterminal Angle

Shares a terminal side with another angle, differing by multiples of 360 degrees, and points in the same direction.
  • Terminal Side

The final position of an angle after rotation, indicating its direction on the coordinate plane.
  • Initial Side

The starting position of an angle, typically aligned along the positive x-axis.
  • Full Rotation

A complete turn around a circle, corresponding to 360 degrees.
  • Degree Measurement

A numerical value representing the size of an angle, often used to describe its rotation.
  • Clockwise Direction

Movement around a circle in the same direction as a clock’s hands, often associated with negative angles.
  • Counterclockwise Direction

Movement around a circle opposite to a clock’s hands, typically associated with positive angles.
  • Multiple of 360 Degrees

A value obtained by multiplying 360 by an integer, used to find coterminal angles.
  • Positive Angle

An angle measured in the counterclockwise direction from the initial side.
  • Negative Angle

An angle measured in the clockwise direction from the initial side.
  • Standard Range

The interval from 0 to 360 degrees, commonly used for expressing angles.
  • Y Axis

The vertical axis in the coordinate plane, often referenced when describing angle positions.
  • X Axis

The horizontal axis in the coordinate plane, serving as the initial side for angles.
  • Rotation

The act of turning around a central point, used to describe the movement of angles.
