So we have four statements and then four answer choices A through D with different combinations of these statements. So we need to evaluate each of them and then see which of them is true since there can be more than one. So statement number one says nitrogen from amino acids is directly converted into ammonia and stored in the body. Well, this one, we should pretty easily be able to rule out as false f there. Cross out number one because ammonia is toxic. So you would not want that stored in the body. Instead, nitrogen from amino acids comes from the breakdown of amino acids. And it's a by-product of that process. And then it is converted into urea for elimination from the body. Since again, ammonia toxic, you wouldn't be able to do that. Then let's look at statement number two, which says amino acids can be converted into intermediates of the citric acid cycle for energy production. Well, this one is true. You know, we don't often think of amino acids in connection with energy, but this is an alternative pathway to produce energy. But the body has lots of backup systems for lack of a better word to produce energy. And one of them is using amino acids. So after deaminate where the nitrogen is removed, the carbon skeleton that's left behind of the amino acids are converted into various intermediates of the citric acid cycle or let's see a cycle. So once it's in that form, it can just enter into the citric acid cycle where it will of course produce a TP. So number two is going to be a correct statement. Semen, number three says the amino group from amino acids is converted to urea in the liver and excreted in the urine. And this is true. Also, as we discussed, we don't want to generate toxic products so that amino group is converted into urea and the liver and then it's transported to the kidneys where it can be excreted in the urine rather than build up in the body. So, number three, true also. And then finally, statement four amino acids are primarily catabolize in muscle tissue where they are stored for later use. Well, this one is not true. This is false. It's a little bit nuanced amino acids can be catabolize in muscle tissue, but they're not primarily metabolized in muscle tissue. When they're catabolize muscle tissue, they're used for immediate protein synthesis and energy needs not stored for later use. So the primary site of catalysis or ca catabolism, excuse me is the liver. So primary equals liver. So statement four is false or two true statements here are then choices or statements two and three. So we look at our answer choices. We have a two only. That's not correct. B three only C is two and three. So we'll circle that and then four is, or D excuse me, all these letters and numbers is three and four.
