Pearson English Academies are dynamic banks of exciting, high-quality resources for educators, English learners and their parents. They can be used to add extra practice, fresh ideas and variety, games, projects and extension materials to any primary or secondary course or for self-directed study.

The Academies can be used to complement any course, to help learners learn, and teachers teach, face-to-face or at a distance.

Teacher access to the Academies comes automatically in the Pearson English Portal with many of our courses. If you need an access code, please contact your local rep.

A bank of extra resources for in-class, online and home-learning designed for secondary educators.

The resources can be used both for in-class and online lessons to make every scenario engaging, motivating and easy to plan and deliver. Much of the content works perfectly when displayed during a lesson. Other content can be shared with students for extra practice.

How to access the Academies

Teacher access to the Academies comes free with many of our Primary and Secondary courses on the Pearson English Portal. It will appear on your Portal dashboard along with your course after entering the access code in your Teacher's Book.

The Pre-Primary Academy and Primary also have student areas for young learners. The student areas can be accessed through the Portal with access codes available from your local Pearson rep.

 

Access Academies via the Portal

  1. Go to pearsonenglish.com/login 
  2. Sign in or create an account. 
  3. Once signed in, follow the on-screen instructions to add your Pearson product. The Academy tile will then appear on your dashboard automatically, if included with that course.

Pre-Primary Academy resources

Pre-Primary Academy is an online resource bank with materials to teach English to the youngest kids. It's been built using the Pearson pre-primary syllabus and pre-primary GSE Learning Objectives. It's for both for kindergarten teachers teaching English, and for parents who want to help their children develop language skills at home. The resources are divided into three levels of difficulty to help learners develop skills gradually.
