With the launch of Pearson English International Certificate computer-based, we want to ensure you feel supported through your teaching-learning journey. Our aim is to support and spark your curiosity to explore, experience, and learn about this top-notch testing solution. In 2022 we had our first Teacher Training Academy and this year we want to take it to the next level. So get ready for our new and varied selection of topics, that will help you become not only a computer-based expert but also a next-level teaching expert.
2023 Teacher Training Academy will consist of two developmental pathways:

Aimed at those who want to familiarize themselves with or refresh their knowledge about International Certificate. Learn more about:

Pat Almendro
Patricia Almendro is an English Teacher and a Certified Master Trainer. She has worked in Argentina in many state and private schools teaching young learners, teens, and adults.

Bartlomiej Janiak
Bartek has worked in the field of education for more than 10 years, following successfully graduating from the University of Lodz in the faculty of English language teaching.

Débora Dichiara
Débora Dichiara graduated as a Teacher of English at IES N° 28 "Olga Cossettini" in Rosario, Argentina. She holds a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Social and Emotional Learning.

Kamil Petryk
Kamil Petryk has been working as a Master Trainer for Pearson for over 10 years. He has worked with teachers and examiners in Europe and Southeast Asia helping them to get familiar with Pearson English International Certificate.

Lottie Harrison
Lottie Harrison is an English Language Assessment Manager for Pearson Tests of English. After years of teaching and teacher education, she is now responsible for item development and supporting assessment related activity for proficiency tests.
TT Academy is now supported by Credly

CBT Masters: Introduction to computer-based testing

With the launch of Pearson English International Certificate computer-based test, we will dive into the digital testing reality.
Some people will find it easy to navigate and friendly in use, others will need preparation and exposure to digital elements to familiarize themselves and move forward. Please join us in the session on computer-based testing. We will go hand in hand through all the elements you need to know to start your journey with International Certificate.
