Welcome stress my old friend - this session will focus on an important aspect of learning that can even shed light on test results. We are all familiar with scenarios where students perform unexpectedly on occasions, but it’s not only about what they know, it’s about how effectively they manage the atmosphere before and during an exam. Please join us in the session on managing stress before the computer-based test and learn how to support your learners before and on a test day.
In this session we will see how a computer-based test differs from a paper-based one in terms of written tasks. We will discuss how writing is assessed and how it should influence the way we help students get prepared. We will take a look at some tips both for the students and the teachers. We will also discuss some classroom activities that will help your students perform best once they sit at a computer to take the test.
