AI Student Workbooks

These AI Workbooks will help IB schools create a consistent, school-wide approach to learning about AI and using it safely and ethically. The Workbooks enable teachers to guide students through inquiry-led, project-based, reflective, and concept-driven learning experiences that build understanding, judgement, and integrity.

By explicitly supporting student voice, critical thinking, and responsible decision-making, these AI Workbooks help develop confident, ethical digital citizens across the IB continuum.  

Key features include: 

Age-appropriate progression through three Workbooks (PYP, MYP, DP/CP) that progress from curiosity and exploration to analysis, evaluation, and academic research, aligned to developmental stages. 

Deep IB-alignment through explicit mapping to the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills across all three Workbooks, with targeted connections to the PYP transdisciplinary themes, MYP key and related concepts and global contexts, and DP/CP links including TOK-style thinking where appropriate. 

Inquiry-driven learning design that goes beyond ‘how to use AI tools’ with reflection prompts, case studies, ethical dilemmas, structured dialogue, model/response comparisons, and student projects.
