Teachers receive a professional development certificate for each webinar attended. They can also earn a Credly digital badge and a Teacher Training Academy completion certificate by attending six out of eight webinars.

Magda Woodham is a teacher educator at Pearson, where she supports the professional development of teachers globally in preparing learners for Pearson English language tests. She holds both a DELTA and an MA in TESOL, and has many years of international experience in a wide range of ELT roles.

Mike Mayor is a specialist in language measurement and learning frameworks. As Academic Lead for the Global Scale of English, he supports teachers and institutions worldwide in understanding learner progress and building confidence through meaningful, data-informed assessment.

Nina Hall is an experienced educator and has taught English to all ages from pre-school to adult in Greece and France. She has taught Greek in the UK for almost 10 years. She is a qualified full curriculum UK primary school teacher with 5 years experience across key stages 1 & 2, and has additional training and experience working with children with special needs and behavioural challenges. She holds a degree in French with linguistics and an MA in child development theory and child psychology.

Dr Veronica Benigno is a Principal Research Scientist at Pearson. She provides research insights into product development, helping teams integrate the GSE into learning design and AI solutions. Previously, she worked as teacher, lexicographer, and research manager for assessment products.

Débora Dichiara, English teacher and ICT specialist, is an Academic Consultant at Pearson, where she’s been empowering educators for 11+ years through training on digital platforms, pedagogical resources, and innovative learning solutions. 

Samantha Bernardo, English teacher and Bilingual Education specialist, is an Academic Specialist in Brazil, where she supports schools nationwide through teacher training, bilingual curriculum development, and innovative pedagogical practices.

Cecilia Castellano is an Academic Consultant at Pearson. She holds a degree in English Language Teaching from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Argentina, and has ten years’ experience teaching and nine years at Pearson across the Southern Cone.

Robert Derbyshire is an Assessment Manager for Pearson. He has worked as a language teacher and academic manager for over 20 years. Robert currently manages the development of several Pearson tests, including English Benchmark Test and PEIC. He has a Masters in TESOL from Nottingham University.

Mateusz Jekiel is an assistant professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where he teaches EFL pronunciation and researches second language acquisition. He is also an Advanced Implementation Specialist at Pearson focusing on educational technology and artificial intelligence.

Meredith Reeve is a Lead Specialist in Research Strategy at Pearson. Drawing on 20 years’ experience across assessment innovation, qualification development and product development, Meredith delivers high-impact research and thought leadership initiatives to advance learning and assessment across Pearson's products and markets.

Dr. Muireann Hendriksen is a Lead Specialist Researcher in Pearson's R&D and Thought Leadership team, using data and evidence to shape strategy on learning, assessment, and AI's impact on education.

Yes. You can earn a certificate after attending each webinar. We'll send you a survey 24 hours after the webinar ends, and you can download your certificate once the survey is completed.

You need to attend six out of eight webinars in the Teacher Training Academy. Upon meeting this requirement, you'll receive a Credly badge and a Teacher Training Academy completion certificate.
