ActiveLearn Primary
Features of ActiveLearn Primary

Planning
Complete support for planning and teaching, saving you valuable time, including lesson ideas to suit a range of teaching and learning styles and interactive planning frameworks.

Teaching Resources
Fuel learners’ curiosity with front-of-class digital resources that boost engagement and inspire. Access everything you need for a lesson, including videos, interactive activities, and customisable PowerPoint presentations.

Student resources
Children love the pupil-focused homepages which change as they get older. Their ‘My Stuff’ area makes it easy to find resources allocated to them. From home, children simply log on to learn! Parents can check their children’s progress and access advice on how they can help.

Progress and Assess
A powerful tool that helps you assess, track and report on pupils’ progress. The assessment toolkit is fully integrated with our resources and can also be used as a standalone tool, alongside any of your existing resources. Benchmark tests help build evidence and our unique at‑a‑glance dashboard helps you track your pupils progress with ease.
Valuable time-saving tools on ActiveLearn Primary
- Create a ‘playlist’ for your lessons to bring together all the resources you need, including the ability to upload your own resources or link to those found online.
- Set tasks, homework and interventions to individuals, groups or the whole class with the click of a button.
- Children can take ownership of learning; they can read their favourite Bug Club book at home, complete an Abacus maths interactive activity independently in the classroom, or spend their rewards in online learning games.
- Activities are automatically collected and marked, and a handy email summary of results sent to you. Keep track of pupil progress over time with an easy-to-use traffic light system, ensuring you are alerted to areas where children need extra support.
- Extract reports to share with colleagues or parents, or to add to other reporting and assessment software used in your school.

How to buy
ActiveLearn Primary resources are accessed through institutional subscriptions, purchased on an annual basis.
When you purchase an ActiveLearn Primary subscription, the resources in that subscription are made available for all members of staff in your school. Teachers in your school can then register and organise their classes on ActiveLearn Primary, and provide them with pupil-specific resources (such as online activities and eBooks).
