About the course

Lift Off is a motivating lower-secondary English course for learners aged 11–15. It helps learners stay engaged, build core language skills and develop the confidence they need to succeed at school and move forward in their learning journey.
The course features engaging texts and comic-style grammar presentations, with a strong focus on reading for pleasure that motivates both confident and reluctant learners. Scaffolded lessons, integrated skills practice and clearly structured support help learners build autonomy while ensuring steady progress.
Built on the Global Scale of English and Pearson’s Personal and Social Capabilities framework, Lift Off combines flexible print and digital resources with practical assessment support to meet the needs of diverse classroom contexts.
