Hello. Today we're going to be evaluating an expression underneath an absolute value. So the absolute value expression given to us is the absolute value of 22 minus pi. Now, how do we subtract pi from 22? While the answer to that is we really can't see pi is an irrational number that is non terminating. And Pie has the value of 3.1415 continuous going on for infinity or commonly known is just approximately equal to 3.14. So what we can go ahead and do is represent 22 -9 as a single quantity because realistically you cannot subtract pi from 22, it's just not possible. So what we're gonna do is just go ahead and take the absolute value of the quantity 22 -9 and the absolute value allows you to represent any quality as a positive value. So evaluating this is going to give us 22 - and that's gonna be the solution to this problem. And the answer to this problem is going to be seen.
