Hello. Today we're gonna be determining whether inequality statement is true or false. So the statement given to us is negative for pie Is less than or equal to -4 Pi. So when you have a less than or equal to symbol, you really have two cases that this that this inequality is stating. The first case is negative four pi is less than negative four pi. Or the other statement is negative for pi is equal to negative four pi. So as long as one of these two statements is true, the whole inequality statement is going to be true. Now let's take a look at the right hand side, negative four pi is equal to negative four pi. Well what this is saying is that this number is equal to itself which is true. Negative four pi is equal to negative four pi. So this part of the statement is correct. Now on the left hand side, what it's saying is that negative four pi is less than itself but that's not true because you can never have a number that can be less than itself. So this statement is false. But since one of the statements holds true, the overall inequality statement is going to be true.
