Pearson Science Stage 4 & 5 New South Wales is designed to help teachers plan, teach, assess and report with confidence for the NSW Science 7–10 Syllabus. The resourse brings together Student Books, eBooks with AI study tools and Pearson Digital Hub in one connected learning experience, so teachers can move between print and digital resources more easily.
It also supports explicit teaching through learning intentions, success criteria, the Gradual Release of Responsibility approach and content broken into manageable pieces, helping students understand what they are learning, why it matters and how to succeed.
Pearson Science is more than a textbook. The Student Book, eBook and Pearson Digital Hub are designed to work together, giving teachers access to sequenced lessons, editable teaching programs, integrated teacher notes, activities, assessments and videos.
This helps reduce the need to build everything from scratch, while still giving teachers flexibility to adapt lessons, resources and assessments to suit their classes.
Pearson Science supports assessment throughout the learning process, not just at the end of a topic. Teachers can use formative assessment embedded at the point of learning, ready-made print and digital assessments, and editable assessments designed for the curriculum.
