Catherine Bright

Catherine is an experienced, qualified English teacher and teacher trainer. She has been involved in ELT in Portugal since 1988 and has taught students of all ages, levels and profiles, including business English students. In addition to holding the Cambridge University/RSA DELTA, she is also an approved teacher trainer in Portugal and has worked a lot over the years both with Portuguese state and private sector teachers. She has also trained on CELTA courses, is an examiner for main suite and YL Cambridge English exams and has a lot of experience in educational management.

Catherine has worked as an author since 2005 and has written a wide variety of materials including various Pearson teachers’ books for the Today! and Discover English series, as well as resource materials, tests, a workbook and an upper primary exam preparer course book for Pearson Central Europe.

Jayne Croxford

Jayne Croxford has been involved in ELT since 1988, when she started teaching children and teenagers in Spain. After several years travelling and teaching in Europe, Jayne spent some time in Oxford as an editor, before she began writing her own books.

Her first book was published in 2002, and since then she has created materials for primary, secondary and adult students for a variety of markets. Her publications for Pearson include Next Move / Move it! for lower secondary, and Discover English for upper primary. Jayne is resident in Barcelona, Spain, with her husband and two children: Dexter and Conrad.

Graham Fruen

Graham Fruen graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MA in French and German, and has worked in ELT for more than 25 years. He taught children and teenagers in Spain and the UK, before embarking on a career in ELT publishing, during which time he published many successful primary and secondary courses for markets around the world. More recently, Graham has moved into writing, in order to further his passion for creating dynamic teaching and learning materials. Graham is married with two children, and lives in Oxford.

Sandy Zervas

Sandy Zervas spent the first half of her professional life as an English Language teacher (RSA Dip. TEFLA) and Director of Studies for Language schools before becoming an ELT author. She has written and co-authored a number of books for Pearson including Grammar Time, Wonderland, The Wonderkids, and Today! She firmly believes that having fun in the classroom is a great motivation for teachers and students alike and she tries to reflect this in her material. She divides her time between Greece and the UK, ferrying industrial quantities of olives and tea for friends and relatives.
