Katie Blainey is Product Director for ELL Institutional Assessment at Pearson, with extensive experience developing educational resources, platforms and assessments. Her work includes award-winning English proficiency assessments, testing programmes and analytics tools used by institutions worldwide. She is passionate about using assessment and insights to support teachers, improve learning and unlock opportunities for learners.

Aslihan Ozsen is a Product Manager at Pearson, leading the development of Speaking Tutor. With a background in behavioural economics and business development, she focuses on designing products that encourage positive behaviour change. Her work explores how AI-powered practice can help learners build confidence and develop their speaking skills.

Sion Reilly is a Senior Product Manager at Pearson with over 15 years of experience in English language learning. A CELTA-qualified former teacher, his career spans content development, learning design and AI and VR innovation. He now leads Language+, Pearson’s AI-enabled self-directed learning app.

Joanna Poetz is a Learning Scientist at Pearson specialising in content development, learning design and digital learning products. With an academic background in English and French, she brings experience in both research and teaching. She will introduce Smart Lesson Generator and how it can help teachers create lesson materials more efficiently.
