Brian Buckley

Brian Buckley is Associate Vice President for Digital Delivery & Analytics. As part of Pearson's Strategic Partnerships team, he works closely with institutional and instructional leaders to help them leverage data to inform course design and courseware implementation, and to identify and intervene with at-risk students to increase engagement, success, retention, and goal attainment.
Benjamin Compton
Course Materials Manager, Aztec Shops

Ben Compton started in the college industry 16 years ago when he was a student. Ben has worked in every division of a campus bookstore which includes cashiering, customer service, receiving, inventory management, online web fulfillment, and department supervisor. For the last 11 years Ben has specialized in course materials and is currently working as the Course Materials Manager at Aztec Shops. He is also a graduate of the National Association of College Stores Leadership Institute and sits on the Affordable Learning Solutions committee at San Diego State.
Jeff Ehrlich, Ed
Director of Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives
Park University
Dr. Jeff Ehrlich joined Park University in Parkville, Missouri in 2011 as associate professor in the Master of Healthcare Administration program in the Hauptmann School of Public Affairs. He served as the University Interim President from 2015-2016. Previously, Ehrlich served as faculty senate president for two terms, and associate dean of the Hauptmann School of Public Affairs.Ehrlich currently leads the Office of Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives at Park University, a project based incubator, which strategizes and implements innovative ideas across all campus centers including military locations. Current projects include a degree in Logistics with an emphasis in autonomous industrial management, and most recently implementing OER or electronic texts in specific degrees and programs at the University.Ehrlich is an invited speaker on a number of academic topics and has presented at national, international, and military conferences.
Greg Fenton

Greg Fenton, CEO and Co-founder of RedShelf, is on a mission to drive digital course materials on college campuses through software solutions built with affordability and enhanced student experiences front of mind. Greg has presented on the Inclusive Access model and other growing trends in digital, best practices for the industry, and participated on numerous panels involving conversations around course materials alongside other industry leaders. Fenton's ambition to reduce the costs of course materials and improve the digital experience for all students has lead to RedShelf's rapid growth and partnerships with over 575 campus bookstores.
Sara Goldrick-Rab
Scholar-Activist, Author, Professor
Temple University
Dr. Goldrick-Rab is Professor of Higher Education Policy & Sociology at Temple University, and Founder of the Wisconsin HOPE Lab, the nation’s only translational research laboratory seeking ways to make college more affordable. She is best known for her innovative research on food and housing insecurity in higher education, having led the two largest national studies on the subject, and for her work on making public higher education free. She is the recipient of the William T. Grant Foundation’s Faculty Scholars Award and the American Educational Research Association’s Early Career Award, and in 2016 POLITICO magazine named her one of the top 50 people shaping American politics. Her latest book, Paying the Price: College Costs, Financial Aid, and the Betrayal of the American Dream, is an Amazon best-seller, and has been featured on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, the New York Review of Books, and CSPAN’s Book TV, among other venues. The Chronicle of Higher Education calls her “a defender of impoverishedstudents and a scholar of their struggles,” and she is ranked 10th in the nation among education scholars according to Education Week.
Tom Malek

Tom Malek, SVP, Head of Partnerships, has been in the educational publishing business for over 23 years, 20 of which have been at Pearson. For the last five years, he has been working nearly exclusively on scalable distribution models for institutions. He has also held positions in sales and sales management, sales force automation, digital publishing and custom publishing.
Tim Peyton

Tim has nearly two decades of experience developing, implementing, and marketing innovative solutions to customer needs in higher education. In his current role with Pearson, Tim is responsible for working with institutions, platform providers and Pearson sales and services teams to help establish and grow digital course materials distribution models that deliver affordable day one access to all students.
