We may also use or disclose your personal information for other purposes with your consent or as permitted or required by law.
We sometimes transfer personal information to others, including to affiliated entities or unrelated companies ("service providers"), that carry out certain functions on our behalf such as order fulfillment, accounts receivable and data processing. In those cases we require those service providers not to use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than as directed by Pearson. Some of these service providers may be located outside of Canada, including in the United States, the United Kingdom and India, and your personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, stored and processed in those jurisdictions for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We take reasonable contractual or other measures to protect your personal information while processed or handled by these service providers. If we do sell or assign all or part of our business, the purchaser or assignee will be able to use and disclose personal information to the same extent, under the same conditions and for substantially the same purposes as Pearson, as described in this Privacy Policy.

If you have submitted personal information and later wish to withdraw your consent to its retention, use or disclosure, please contact us as indicated below. You may withdraw your consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Please understand that without your consent, we may not be able to provide certain goods or services to you.
