Hello everyone in this video. We're trying to find the differences between type a type of interactions and dispersion forces. So let's go ahead and start off with our London dispersion or dispersion forces. All right, so one important thing about dispersion forces is that all molecules have this sort of the standard for all molecules, whether it's polar or non polar are contains hydrogen bonding or not. Alright, so those are the two big things that we can take away from dispersion forces. Take a look at dipole dipole interactions. So this of course only occurs in polar molecules. So of course it just happens when we have a more electro negative atom connected to a less electro negative atom. So we're taking into example we have carbon with oxygen. So then we have here this bond here is going to be a polar bond. So carbon has a electro negativity that's lower than auction. So we have a slightly positive and slightly negative end and this whole bonding then makes of course this whole molecule a polar molecule. And because of this different electro negativity we also have a deep archetypal interaction. So because that then is going to be the second weakest I. M. F.
