About the speakers
Jon Burlew
Jon Burlew moved to Somerset in 1998 after teaching for eleven years at Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas. Jon was chair of the vocational broadcasting department at CCC and taught oral communication classes.
Jon successfully promoted to full Professor with tenure at Somerset Community College and is currently the Associate Dean of Humanities, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences. Jon also works as a sports broadcaster and morning show host for Forcht Broadcasting in Somerset.
The Humanities, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences Division at Somerset Community College has been using Inclusive Access textbooks since 2014. Currently, Inclusive Access has been adopted in every discipline and in every mode of teaching in the division; including online, face-to-face, hybrid, and dual credit high school courses.
Dina Yankelewitz
Dina Yankelewitz is a Program Outcomes Analytics Manager at Pearson. She holds a doctorate in mathematics education, and was a full-time faculty member, as well as an active education researcher. Currently, she interfaces with institutions implementing digital direct access to evaluate and document the impact of the initiative on student achievement, access, and cost savings.
