Hi everyone for this problem. It reads consider the following sections of molecules below identify which is expected to conduct electricity better. Alright, so let's compare the two. Alright, So, for our first image, we see that there are no pi bonds. All right. And for our second we see that there are pi bonds, but specifically there are conjugated pi bonds. Okay. And these are alternating single and double bonds. So we have conjugated pi bonds in this, in this molecule here. Alright. So, with conjugated pi bonds, that means the pi bond electrons are de localized within the whole structure and by this being by the electrons being de localized, it allows the electrons to move freely and allow electrical conductivity. Okay, So, in terms of these two molecules, the one with the conjugated pi bonds is going to be the one that conducts electricity better because those electrons are allowed to move freely and allow electrical conductivity.
