So in order to evaluate this, we're going to need to break down the factors of 225. Now I do know that 225 is divisible by 25. If we multiply 25 times 9, we get 225. And 25 breaks down into 5 x 5, and 9 breaks down into 3 x 3. Now here I do have some pairs of factors. I have 2 5s and 2 3s. So if I go ahead and combine one of these 5s with one of the 3s, and the other 5 with the other 3, I see that 5 times 3 is 15. So that means that 15. Multiplied by 15 is equal to 225. In other words, 15 square equals 225, which means the square root of 225 is 15.
