In this session, we’ll review many of the flexible features of MyLab™ that allow for individualizing the learning experience for teacher education candidates at both the undergraduate and graduate level. We’ll discuss best practices and well as pitfalls. While the focus of this session is Special Education courses, it can be applicable to any course that utilizes MyLab.

Peggy Rochelle

Dr. Peggy Rochelle

Dr. Peggy Rochelle is a full time assistant professor at Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee, and a national board certified teacher. Dr. Rochelle has over 31 years of public education classroom expertise in elementary, middle school, and special education. She has 12 years of adjunct and five years of full time higher education experience designing and teaching Special Education courses, Math and Science Pedagogy courses, and Professional Education courses. She has taught higher education courses in all manner of course delivery systems — from distance learning to face-to-face courses. Dr. Rochelle has a great interest in brained-based teaching and learning. She uses her knowledge of how adults learn to leverage candidate performance in her classes.
