Pearson National Teaching Awards 2022

Regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the teaching profession, The National Teaching Awards have been recognising excellence in education across the UK for almost a quarter of a century.

At Pearson, we’re proud to sponsor the Pearson National Teaching Awards and celebrate the impact teachers have on young people’s lives – in school and beyond.

About the awards

Since 1998, the National Teaching Awards have taken place annually to celebrate the amazing and inspiring work of teachers across the UK.

Selected from thousands of entries, the awards are given in 15 different categories, from primary through to secondary and FE.

Entries are either awarded a Nomination, a Bronze, a Silver or a Gold status. Gold winners will be announced in November at the Pearson National Teaching Awards UK ceremony, attended by all Silver Winners.

Celebrating excellence in education

Every year, we’re inspired by the hard work, dedication, commitment and positivity of teachers, who tirelessly make a difference to so many children in schools across the country.

Throughout the pandemic, this sentiment has never been greater. COVID-19 has given every family in the UK even more of an appreciation of the amazing work that teachers do.

Find out why we’re proud to sponsor the Pearson National Teaching Awards this year and support excellence in education throughout the UK.
