Researching Microsoft Office Specialist  

We assembled evidence from a range of sources to support the validity, reliability, and fairness of the Microsoft Office Specialist program in assessing digital skills. 
 
The above finding about certificate earners’ progression is based on a series of reports analyzing participation and performance in programs authorized by Florida’s Career and Professional Education Act. 
 
We calculated Cronbach’s alpha using data from multiple forms of the certification exam, with an average sample size of 4,514 test-takers. 
 
The above findings about candidates’ perceptions of the exam are based on the Microsoft Office Specialist Candidate Net Satisfaction Survey, administered to all candidates who complete a certification exam.
