Myth busting series: Online tutoring is complicated to set-up, especially with the use of technology
Technology, new software and the need for devices, can often, unnecessarily, put teachers off, but in just two steps, you and your learners can be ready for their online sessions with ease - a smooth, stress-free process for all.
1. Technology
One teacher said:
When I go to get the children for their tuition sessions, they're already out of their seats and on their way. Children are so motivated by technology these days that they don’t seem to see it as work.
2. Location
Finding a location might seem challenging but all that is needed is a quiet environment with enough space for a pupil or three pupils, their device and a pen and paper. The use of headphones will also allow more than one online tutoring session to take place in the same room.
In fact, far from complicated, online tutoring brings with it added benefits; personalised learning and stress-free support to name just a few. And, as all our tutoring sessions recorded, students can go back and listen to their sessions as many times as they need, providing an excellent revision resource ahead of any assessments!
