CELF range of assessments

The early identification of language and communications needs is essential, and can significantly impact our life outcomes and educational journey. The Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF) range of comprehensive tools is designed to assess language, communication and memory skills from ages 3 to 21 years and 11 months.

Telepractice with the CELF-5UK

This webinar explores what Telepractice is, factors to consider in deciding when and how to use it, and how to incorporate standardised assessments into your Telepractice. Using the CELF-5UK via Q-global®, our online-based scoring and reporting system, this webinar clearly explains the factors for conducting the assessment and how to capture the student’s responses in a remote session.

Q-global

Q-global is our web-based administration, scoring and reporting system that enables you to administer a selection of assessments, remotely or via telepractice, so you can continue supporting your clients during social distancing. Q-global also allows you to input results from paper-and-pencil assessments to generate scores and produce accurate comprehensive reports.

Remote testing

Any assessment within the Q-global Product Matrix (PDF, 84 KB), that states the word ‘Pay Per Report’ under the ROSA column header, can also be administered remotely via a secure email generated by the practitioner on the Q-global platform and sent to the patient/parent for completion. Any assessment that states ‘Pay Per Report’ under the OSA column header can be administered via your own laptop or tablet.

Telepractice

We understand that in-person sessions may not be possible right now. Telepractice enables you to continue to provide care, by applying familiar online technologies to connect you to your students in a virtual session. If you decide to use remote sessions, you must consider all the surrounding issues related to this change in service-delivery method. Our telepractice guidelines explain the use of our products in relation to your professional practice, so you can safely continue to provide that all important support to your students.

Our Digital Assessment Library gives you and your students access to some of Pearson Clinical Assessment’s leading assessment tools to help your students get the practice they need wherever they may be.

Each subscription gives access to our two digital platforms Q-global, our web-based administration, scoring and reporting system that allows you to administer a selection of our assessments remotely, plus access many test manuals and stimulus books online, and Q-interactive, our face-to-face iPad device-based system for administration, scoring and reporting.
