He is passionate about enhancing education, strives to make it more efficient, impactful, and enjoyable for students and teachers. With a commitment to excellence and a multifaceted approach, Chris is dedicated to shaping the future of education through innovation and creativity.

Emily Lai, Learning Impact Measurement at Pearson: Learning Science Researcher, Efficacy and Learning, Pearson
Emily Lai is a key member of Pearson's Efficacy & Learning team, where she leads a group of researchers dedicated to studying the use of Pearson products in teaching and learning. Her team's work focuses on understanding the impact of these tools on learning engagement, study habits, academic achievement, and student progression. Emily’s expertise lies at the intersection of assessment and learning within digital environments. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Measurement & Statistics and a Master's in Library & Information Science, both from the University of Iowa. Emily resides in Iowa City with her husband, two daughters, and their golden retriever, Fancy. In her free time, she is an active learner of yoga and piano.
