Millwright, Level 1, 4th edition
Title overview
For courses covering millwrighting skills.
Responding to a growing national demand for millwrights
Millwright, Level 1, is the first installment of a four-level curriculum for a standard millwright apprenticeship program. Over the series, trainees learn the components of mechanical systems and get step-by-step guidance in installing, removing, troubleshooting and maintaining them.
In the 4th Edition, NCCER's Millwright curriculum moves from five to four levels, to fit a standard four-year industry training program. Content updates in Level 1 reflect modern tools and approaches, such as field sketching, which is now an elective based on its relevance to the work environment. Learners will also benefit from a more focused approach to job skills.
