The Functional Skills Festival of Functionality is back for a second year!
Aimed at teachers of Pearson’s Functional Skills English and maths, this CPD festival also includes sessions on ESOL, Digital Functional Skills and Essential Digital Skills. All the sessions are FREE and are designed to support your delivery of these qualifications.
What is on offer?

Security and Protective Services updates
Close Protection Top Up: Delivery Options
A reminder that there are a number of different delivery options permitted for the Close Protection Top Up qualification. These may reduce the number of days over which the course must be delivered.
The webpage below provides more information and a table that summarises the delivery options and the minimum number of days for each.
Get Training
Please also be aware that the SIA has just released an updated version of Get Training. We advise you use the most up to date version, dated March 2023, from now onwards. The SIA has removed the previous version of the document from their website and will upload the current version shortly. The up to date version is available to download from our website here:
