A BTEC Explorer Course in Land-based will give your learners a realistic view of what it is like to work in this sector through ar range of case studies, videos and work-taster activities. The course will help individuals to understand and assess how their personal skills and qualities may be compatible to job roles in this sector.
At the end of the course, individuals will be awarded with a digital badge to confirm course completion.
Successful completion of a BTEC Explorer course supports individuals in progressing to:
- An entry-level job role
- An Apprenticeship
- A BTEC course/qualification in a related sector

Part 1: Find out about the sector
- This course will give individuals who are considering a career in Land-based a realistic idea of what it would be like to work in this sector.
- Bite-sized content allows you to explore and reflect on roles and expectations of the sector before deciding whether you wish to pursue a role or career in the sector.
Part 2: Find out about yourself
- The course will enable you to self-assess your own skills and personal qualities and decide whether a career in this sector is suitable for you.
Part 3: Determine next steps towards your career
- Includes information about the career opportunities in the sector, as well as some of the challenges – giving you real insight into how you may wish to develop your career path.

If you're interested in Land-based, you can still choose to sample any of these five courses as each course follows the same structure.
