Learning Hub digital credentials and criteria

Pearson Learning Hub digital credentials are powered by Credly, and makes it easy for your learners to earn and display their credentials across the web through open badges. 

Digital credentials

Shows achievement of skill, quality or interest and can be displayed, accessed and verified online. They are visual indicators of achievement in digital format. 

 

Digital badges

These can be earned for a range of achievements - e.g. at the most basic level to demonstrate completion of a particular module, to achieving and demonstrating skills and knowledge as part of a course. 

Our digital badges criteria cover three levels of achievements.

Learning Hub | Learning Badge

Learning badge

The learner has successfully completed a programme of learning.

Learning Hub | Applied Learning Badge

Applied learning badge

The learner has successfully demonstrated the ability to apply their knowledge and understanding in relevant contexts.  

Learning Hub | Demonstrated Skills Badge

Demonstrated skills

The learner has demonstrated a skill in a relevant context. 

How do learners earn and share their badge?

Once earned, a Learning Hub digital credential is downloadable from the issuing platform, Credly.
