Electrical, Level 1, is the first installment of NCCER's 4-level electrical curriculum. Over the course of the series, students learn the structure of electrical systems, while building skills to follow blueprints, install wiring and navigate other electrical components. In this introductory level, students get an overview of the work of an electrician, including the basics of safety, codes, testing and documentation.

The 10th Edition has been revised to reflect the 2020 National Electrical Code®. It includes revisions to five modules, updated module examinations, and dozens of new photographs and wiring diagrams.
