Pearson Virtual Schools teachers are highly qualified, credentialed, state-certified* and specifically trained in online instruction methods. Pearson's teachers provide a personalized learning experience and offer multiple opportunities for live synchronous instruction and academic support. From live classroom sessions to Teacher Time office hours to collaborative small group activities, Pearson teachers will engage with your students to foster concept mastery and academic confidence. In addition to subject matter teachers, Pearson online education programs provide an advisory teacher for every full-time student in grade 6-12. The advisor is an advocate for online students working with them and the student's other teachers. They aim to increase student success in courses by implementing processes and protocols emphasizing quality communications, effective data use, and accurate efforts documentation. Additionally, advisors aim to improve the student and family's overall benefit of the online learning experience and course success through collaboration and coordination of efforts with district success partners, teacher managers, teachers, and other internal stakeholders.
