A collaborative approach to sustainable design education

In partnership with the Design Council and the National Society for Education in Art & Design (NSEAD), we are embedding real-world sustainability into design education. Together, we’ve integrated the Design Council’s Skills for Planet framework into GCSE Art & Design, giving students hands-on skills that connect creativity with environmental responsibility, from thoughtful material choices to understanding the wider impact of design on people and planet. This collaboration empowers teachers and nurtures young designers who can use their craft to shape a more sustainable future.
